About Us
Chica Power is not only a gym or just a nutrition club…it is a community of women who uplift, motivate and inspire one another in their wellness goals. We offer group fitness classes that are fun, yet challenging…we offer nutrition coaching and fellowship through nutrition products and one on one accountability and support.
In a world where so many people have become distanced, Chica Power is serving the community and changing lives one member at a time by bringing women of all sizes, ages and backgrounds together. A place where women feel safe to gather and not only talk about wellness and “workout,” but a place that women can have fellowship and feel like they belong. There’s a gap between big box gyms and stand alone nutrition club…the gap is called community. And that is what Chica Power provides…filling the gap between wellness and mental health.
Meet The Team

Cindy Newton
Owner
After being a clinical social work for over 20 years, owner Cindy decided to bring her love of fitness and nutrition to one location, realizing that these two factors are a game changer for mental health. We hope to be a place in the community to get empowered, inspired, and uplifted by those who surround you. When Cindy isn’t slinging shakes or discussing nutrition, she’s teaching fitness classes, from Zumba, Zumba Step, Mobility, Kickboxing, and Functional Strength. All of her classes are full of energy, laughter, and lots of SWEAT!
Kai Smith
Strength Fitness Instructor

Kai brings the heat and the strength in all the classes she teaches. Her love of wellness shines through her classes and challenges you to get stronger every class.
Drea Alejandro
Yoga Instructor

Drea loves to challenge your idea of what yoga should be. She is a firm believer that yoga is for everyBODY, despite age or ability. Drea’s classes love to end their session with soothing and aromatic towel for relaxation.
Anna Johnson
Zumba Instructor

Anna is a full time music teacher turned Zumba instructor, and it shows in her class! Anna is known for her fun moves, her funny personality, and her fat burn routines!
Leah Marek
Barre and Chica Barbell Instructor

Leah may look sweet and innocent, but is a beast at the barre! She brings the toning with pulsing, bands, and pilates balls to bring you a class full of burn that leaves your muscles humming! Her barbell class will challenge you to build strenght and get your sweat on! No matter what class you take with Leah, you will feel the burn!
Emily Hutchins
Line Dance Instructor

Meet Emily, our vibrant line dancing instructor! After a year of teaching this lively style, Emily has joined our gym’s permanent staff, bringing her signature energy and flair to every session. Her classes guarantee a party atmosphere that will keep you moving and smiling!
